The applicants appealed the City of Toronto's failure to adopt an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit a 30-storey mixed-use building with 550 residential units.
The parties reached a settlement, which was supported by uncontroverted expert planning evidence.
The Tribunal found the proposed instruments represented good planning, allowed for transit-supportive intensification, and conformed with applicable policies.
The Tribunal allowed the appeals in part on an interim basis, withholding its final order pending the satisfaction of several conditions.
