The applicant appealed the City of Toronto's failure to make decisions on applications for an Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendments, and a Draft Plan of Subdivision to facilitate a master-planned, transit-oriented community integrated with the Scarborough GO Station.
The parties reached a full uncontested settlement.
Based on uncontradicted expert planning evidence, the Tribunal found the settlement consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement and in conformity with the Official Plan.
The Tribunal allowed the appeals in part, approved the instruments in principle, and withheld its final order pending the satisfaction of numerous conditions.
