Tribunal approves 29-storey residential redevelopment in principle following uncontested settlement between applicant and City.
The applicant appealed the City of Toronto's failure to make a decision on Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment applications to permit a 29-storey residential building.
Following a settlement between the parties, the Tribunal held a written hearing and accepted uncontroverted expert planning evidence supporting the revised proposal.
The Tribunal allowed the appeals in part and approved the redevelopment in principle, withholding its final order pending the fulfillment of several conditions including finalized by-laws and servicing reports.
