The Ontario Land Tribunal issued an order regarding compensation for the expropriation of the claimant's property by the City of Toronto.
The Tribunal ordered the City to pay $4,326,350.00 for the market value of the property, subject to deductions for any sums already paid under s. 25(b) of the Expropriations Act.
The claimant's request for disturbance damages under s. 13 was dismissed.
The City was also ordered to pay 6% interest on the market value from the date of expropriation, as well as the claimant's reasonable legal, appraisal, and planning costs.
