Appeal allowed in part to implement a settlement amending a municipal housekeeping zoning by-law.
The appellants appealed the Township of Georgian Bay's Amending By-law No. 2025-053 (a housekeeping by-law) under subsection 34(19) of the Planning Act.
The parties reached a full uncontested settlement.
Based on the uncontradicted planning evidence, the Tribunal found that the revised by-law contains only clarificatory and editorial amendments, is consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement, conforms to the applicable Official Plans, and represents good planning.
The appeal was allowed in part to amend the by-law in accordance with the settlement.
