Human rights application dismissed as abandoned after applicant failed to respond to Tribunal direction.
The applicant filed an application under section 34 of the Human Rights Code, which was initially deferred pending a civil proceeding.
The Tribunal subsequently issued a Case Assessment Direction requiring the applicant to provide submissions on the respondents' request to reactivate and dismiss the application under section 45.1.
The applicant failed to respond by the deadline.
As a result, the Tribunal deemed the application abandoned and dismissed it.
