The Ontario College of Teachers and the member brought a joint motion seeking leave to withdraw allegations of professional misconduct and incompetence.

At a discipline hearing, the Ontario College of Teachers sought leave to withdraw the allegations set out in the Notice of Hearing against the member, as the College was unable to call any evidence in support of the allegations.

The member consented to the withdrawal.

The Discipline Panel granted the application and ordered the Notice of Hearing withdrawn.

The College and the Member brought a joint motion seeking leave to withdraw the Notice of Hearing in exchange for the Member's undertaking and acknowledgment.

The Discipline Committee granted the motion, finding it in the public interest.

The Member undertook to immediately resign his membership, surrender his certificate, never teach again, and never seek reinstatement.
