Liquor licence suspended for 45 days following admissions of permitting drunkenness, drug use, and obstructing police.
The Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario issued Notices of Proposal to suspend and revoke the liquor licence of Jose Eduardo Mancebo, operating as That Fun Place.
Following an Agreed Statement of Facts, the licensee admitted to multiple violations of the Liquor Licence Act and its regulations, including permitting drunken patrons, allowing the removal of liquor from licensed areas, permitting the smoking of marijuana, obstructing a police officer, and operating an illegal contest.
The Board accepted a Joint Submission on Disposition, suspending the licence for 45 days and adding conditions to the licence, including mandatory security and prohibiting the employment of the licensee's daughter.
