Manga Hotels appealed the City of Toronto's failure to make a decision on a zoning by-law amendment application to permit a 383-room hotel development at 465-471 Richmond Street West and 38 Camden Street.
A related appeal concerned the denial of a demolition permit for 38 Camden Street.
At a settlement hearing, the Tribunal heard uncontroverted expert land use planning evidence that the proposed development is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement, conforms with the Growth Plan and the City's Official Plan, and represents good land use planning.
The Tribunal allowed the appeal in part, subject to conditions, and the related demolition appeal was to be withdrawn.
