The Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario issued a Notice of Proposal to suspend and add conditions to the liquor licence of a Boston Pizza franchisee following incidents of noise, disorderly conduct, and patrons removing liquor from the premises.
The licensee admitted to breaches of sections 46, 45.1, and 34(1) of O.Reg 719/90.
The Board considered the licensee's post-incident remedial actions, including buying out a problematic partner, changing staff, and implementing new policies.
The Board ordered a six-day suspension of the liquor licence and added conditions restricting patio hours and noise.
