The Member then moved the body to a bed to cover up the circumstances of death and falsified records.

The Member also neglected another patient, leaving her in distress for hours while falsifying her chart.

The Discipline Committee found the Member committed professional misconduct, including physical and emotional abuse.

Accepting a joint submission, the Committee ordered a reprimand and noted the Member's undertaking to permanently resign her certificate of registration.

The Member submitted falsified resumes, altered police reference checks, and forged academic credentials to multiple healthcare facilities, holding herself out as another nurse with a similar name.

The College of Nurses of Ontario requested an adjournment sine die of the allegations contained in the first of three Notices of Hearing against the member.

The College submitted that proceeding with the first Notice of Hearing was not in the public interest given the resources required and because the second Notice of Hearing carried a statutory requirement for revocation, which would adequately protect the public.
