and

Karen Shai, for the respondent
Heard: April 24, 2009
On appeal from the conviction entered on February 29, 2008 and the sentence imposed on June 10, 2008, by Justice Alison Harvison Young of the Superior Court of Justice, sitting without a jury.
APPEAL BOOK ENDORSEMENT
[1] We commend Ms. Samuels for the sincere efforts that she now appears to have taken to rehabilitate herself, especially to address her drug addition. However, in our view, the sentence imposed by the trial judge was fit.
[2] Accordingly, though leave to appeal sentence is granted, the sentence appeal is dismissed.
[3] The appellant did not pursue her conviction appeal, and it is therefore dismissed.
