On appeal from the judgment of Justice J.B. Shaughnessy of the Superior Court of Justice dated November 30, 2005.
Appeal Book Endorsement
[1] We are not persuaded that there was any error in principle in the reasons of the trial judge. Weighing remorse and the guilty pleas were matters for the trial judge and we do not agree that he erred in that regard. The sentence was, in our view, within the range for these serious offences which included two violent robberies and showing up at the probation office with a loaded handgun. Leave to appeal sentence granted, but the appeal is dismissed.
