Following a pre-hearing teleconference regarding a Notice of Proposal to suspend the liquor licence of Liongate Lounge, the Board of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ordered mutual disclosure of witness lists, witness statements, and other materials pursuant to Rule 10 of the AGCO Revised Rules of Practice, to be completed ten days prior to the scheduled hearing.

The Board previously found the Licensee violated subsections 34(1) and 45(1) of Ontario Regulation 719/90 by permitting drunkenness and allowing alcohol to be removed from the premises.

The Registrar sought a seven-day suspension, noting the Licensee's lack of due diligence, prior violations for similar offences, and failure to accept responsibility.

The Licensee disputed the findings and claimed to be targeted by authorities.
