The Ontario College of Teachers brought disciplinary proceedings against the member for professional misconduct, including allegations of sexual abuse of a student.
The member did not attend the hearing but entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the College, pleading guilty to the allegations.
The Discipline Committee accepted the Memorandum of Agreement, found the member guilty of professional misconduct, and directed the Registrar to revoke her certificate of qualification and registration.
The member also agreed not to apply for reinstatement for three years and undertook not to teach in any school in the future.
