Tribunal partially approves psychological treatment plan but reduces psychotherapist's hourly rate to $91.43.
The applicant sought statutory accident benefits following a motor vehicle accident.
The applicant was removed from the Minor Injury Guideline due to a psychological impairment.
The Tribunal found that the applicant was not entitled to two treatment plans for chiropractic services, as the medical evidence indicated full physical recovery.
The Tribunal also denied the outstanding balances for two psychological treatment plans, finding the applicant failed to justify sessions longer than one hour or an hourly rate of $149.61 for a psychotherapist.
However, the Tribunal approved a 2024 psychological treatment plan, subject to a reduced hourly rate of $91.43 for the psychotherapist, awarding $1,474.30 plus interest.
The applicant's request for an award under section 10 of Reg. 664 was dismissed.
