The appellant made a request under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act to the Sarnia Police Service for records relating to an incident leading to his arrest.

The Police denied access to several records, citing exemptions for law enforcement and unjustified invasion of personal privacy.

The Adjudicator found that the Police conducted a reasonable search for records.

However, the Adjudicator ordered the disclosure of severable portions of certain records that contained the appellant's personal information without unjustifiably invading the privacy of others, while upholding the decision to withhold the remaining records.

The employer applied to revoke a Review Officer Order regarding a pay equity plan.

The employer brought a motion arguing that the individual employees who initiated the complaint to Review Services lacked standing to participate as respondents before the Tribunal, as they were members of a bargaining unit represented by a union.

The Tribunal granted the motion, finding that the employees' legal interests were identical to those of the union, and their participation would unnecessarily add to the length and cost of the proceedings without assisting the Tribunal.
