Introduction
1This is an application made under s. 144 of the Child and Family Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.C11, as amended, (the “CFSA”). The Applicants applied to the Child and Family Services Review Board (the “Board”) for a review of the Respondent Society’s decision to refuse their application to adopt [ ], born [ ] (the “Child”).
WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION
2At the hearing on February 1, 2017, the Applicants presented to the panel their request to withdraw their application to the Board. Their request arises from the change of position taken by the Society to support the Applicants' adoption application for the Child and the Child's sibling, who is in the care of the Applicants. The Society confirmed its change of position to support the Applicants' adoption application and consented to the withdrawal.
DECISION OF THE PANEL
3The panel grants the request of the Applicants to withdraw their application and confirms that the Board's file is closed, effective February 1, 2017.
