Teacher reprimanded and ordered to take boundaries course after inappropriate involvement in students' personal lives.

The Member pleaded guilty to professional misconduct for failing to maintain professional boundaries with two students and their families.

The Member inappropriately involved herself in the personal lives of the students, including expressing interest in adopting a pregnant student's baby and later withdrawing, and disclosing another student's hospitalization to her employer and boyfriend's mother.

The Discipline Committee accepted a joint submission on penalty, ordering a reprimand and the completion of a course on professional boundaries.
