The appellants appealed a judgment of the Superior Court of Justice to the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
The Court of Appeal quashed the appeal, finding that it lacked jurisdiction to hear the matter given the amount of the judgment, without prejudice to the appellants commencing an appeal in the proper forum.
