REASONS FOR DECISION
[1] In her first six years of life, W.L. has been subjected to ever changing parenting regimes and other traumatic events as hereafter discussed. Is it any wonder this young child is in counselling?
Background
[2] The applicant father, T.J.L., is 42 years of age. He resides in Cambridge and has been steadily employed by B[…] for the past 12 years. His current position is assistant manager with an annual income of approximately $39,000.00.
[3] The respondent mother, E.B., is 29 years of age. She resides in Hanover. E.B. is enrolled as a student at G[…] College in a social work program. She is also a stay at home mother. E.B.’s income is said to consist of child tax benefits and child support payments received from the fathers of her two older children, the amount not being disclosed.
[4] Little is known about the parties from an historical perspective.
[5] T.J.L. was previously married to J.A. A divorce was granted in 2013. Two children were born to that relationship. Litigation concerning those children was resolved in 2012. B.L., now 19, was in his care until recently. C.L., now 10, is in the custody of his mother with regular access in favour of T.J.L.
