[1] The plaintiffs request that this action and actions CV-14-501886, CV-14-515957, CV-15, 534594-00A1, CV-14-515959 and CV-15-534591 (“the “actions”) be assigned for case management pursuant to rule 77.05 of the Rules of Civil Procedure, R.R.O.1990.Reg.194 (the “rules”).
[2] The Regional Senior Judge has delegated the responsibility for determining requests for case management to me as the Civil Team Leader-Toronto Region. I have reviewed the materials provided.
[3] On March 31, 2017, Master Pope ordered that these actions be tried at the same time, or one immediately after the other.
[4] In applying the criteria set forth in rule 77.05(4) to the factual matrix of these proceedings, I am satisfied that these actions should be assigned for case management.
[5] I order that actions CV-15-530882, CV-14-501886, CV-14-515957, CV-15-534594-00A1, CV-14-515959 and CV-15-534591 be assigned for case management and in accordance with rule 77.06(1) that Justice W.S. Chalmers be assigned as the case management judge.
