APPEAL BOOK ENDORSEMENT
[1] The key issue on this appeal is whether the trial judge erred by finding that Patrick’s evidence was corroborated. In our view, he did not err. The trial judge was well aware that Patrick was an unsavoury witness and he scrutinized his evidence with great care. He explicitly recognized that he had to treat Patrick’s evidence with “great caution”. He then itemized many pieces of evidence, which in our view, he correctly found were capable of confirming Patrick’s testimony.
[2] We agree with his approach and his analysis of Patrick’s testimony and the confirming evidence supporting it. We see no merit in the other two grounds of appeal advanced by the appellant.
[3] The conviction appeal is dismissed.
