1We agree with the appellants that reasons were warranted in this case because it is a serious decision that forecloses their ability to defend the action. However, the reasons are discernible from the record.
2We dismiss the appeal for the reasons given by Roberts J.A. in refusing to stay pending this appeal: Royce Presidential Investments Inc. v. Valour Group Inc., 2025 ONCA 903, at paras. 27-32.
3Costs to the respondent in the amount of $10,000 all inclusive.
