Appeal allowed in part on consent to permit severance with natural heritage buffer conditions.
The applicant appealed the City of Mississauga committee of adjustment's decision regarding a consent to sever a property to develop a new detached dwelling.
The parties reached a full settlement.
Based on uncontested planning evidence, the Tribunal found that the revised conditions, which include dedicating a Natural Heritage Feature to the City and establishing a 3.0-metre buffer, represent good planning and are consistent with provincial policies.
The appeal was allowed in part and provisional consent was granted subject to the revised conditions.
