Appeal allowed on consent to permit temporary use of two boarding houses for foreign workers.
The applicant appealed the refusal or neglect of the Municipality of Leamington to make a decision on a Zoning By-law Amendment application to permit the temporary use of two boarding houses for 29 temporary foreign workers for an additional three years.
The parties reached a full uncontested settlement.
The Tribunal accepted the uncontradicted expert planning evidence that the temporary use until January 31, 2028, is consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement and conforms to the applicable Official Plans.
The appeal was allowed and the zoning by-law amendment was approved.
