Tribunal approves settlement modifying Official Plan to redesignate employment lands to Regeneration Areas.
The Ontario Land Tribunal held a written hearing to consider a settlement between Amexon Property Management Corporation and the City of Toronto regarding an appeal of Official Plan Amendment No. 231.
Based on the uncontroverted land use planning evidence, the Tribunal approved modifications to redesignate the subject lands from General Employment Areas to Regeneration Areas and add a Site and Area Specific Policy.
The Tribunal found the modifications represented good planning, were consistent with provincial policies, and resolved the site-specific appeal.
