[1] This is a detention review brought by the gaoler under s.525 of the Criminal Code.

[2] The accused is detained since on drug charges. The trial has been held over 8 days. Good J. of the Ontario Court is due to give judgment on July 15, 2024.

[3] Because the trial has started, s.525 has no application and I have no jurisdiction to deal with bail: R. v. Faubert, 2023 ONSC 4663; R. v. Pearson, 2020 BCSC 700. Any application for bail at this point must be made to the trial judge under s.523(2)(a) of the Criminal Code.

[4] The review is dismissed.
