As ordered in my endorsement of September 5, 2023, the parties appeared before the court again for case management.

The applicant wishes to adjourn the trial. She was advised by the court that a motion had to be brought before the trial judge in support of this request.

The applicant also wishes to amend her application to advance a new theory.

Order:

[1] The applicant’s motion to adjourn the trial is scheduled to be heard virtually on October 17, 2023 at 9:30 AM. before the trial judge.

[2] The applicant’s notice of motion shall be a maximum of five pages. The applicant’s affidavit shall be a maximum of 15 pages double spaced with a minimum 12-point font, together with all relevant exhibits.

[3] The applicant’s notice of motion to adjourn the trial and supporting affidavit shall be served by October 10, 2023.

[4] Two Arabic English interpreters are required for the return of the motion.

Amendment of application

[5] The applicant is granted leave to file an amended application by October 18, 2023.

Trial management conference

[6] The application was previously adjourned for a trial management conference on October 19, 2023. Counsel are requested to consolidate the trial scheduling endorsement forms of the parties into a jointly prepared one.
