[1] I have now received the response of Plaintiff’s counsel to my endorsement of October 18, 2021. I now see that I was in error in that CIBC is actually suing the Defendant for a number of heads of relief, which together add up to more than the $35,000 Small Claims Court limit. Order to go:

a. extending the time for service of the statement of claim until December 31, 2021;

b. granting substituted service of the statement of claim, which shall be served along with the order resulting from this endorsement, upon the Defendant by regular and registered mail, addressed to her at 310-30 Grand Trunk Cres., Toronto, M5J 3A4.

c. Service will be effective 14 days following the latest of mailings set out in para. 1(b) above.
