[1] The Applicant moved to vary child support and spousal support [2018 ONSC 2324]. He succeeded on the former and failed on the latter. The Respondent asks for costs ranging from $12,534 for partial indemnity to $20,890 for full indemnity.

[2] The Respondent made an offer to settle that was reasonable. She did about as well as her offer, but it was only made after resisting a reasonable request to terminate child support for some considerable time, before Ms Lucas was on the file.

[3] The Applicant succeeded in getting a contribution from the Respondent to extraordinary expenses.

[4] In all the circumstances I think that the parties should bear their own costs.
