PERELL, J.
[1] The Plaintiff, Amgad, Inc., brought a summary judgment motion for payment of $50,895.55 (U.S. dollars) or the equivalent in Canadian dollars and for an order dismissing the counterclaim of the Defendant, Marquee Equity Inc., which claimed $1.0 million in damages for slander and intentional interference of contractual and business relations. I granted summary judgment to Amgad, Inc. on its claim and I dismissed the counterclaim. See Amgad, Inc. v. Marquee Equity Inc., 2017 ONSC 4138.
[2] Amgad, Inc. made written submissions and it seeks costs of $12,141.61, all inclusive of counsel fee, disbursements, and applicable taxes. Marquee Equity Inc. did not deliver any submissions to oppose this request for costs.
[3] The claim for costs is overwhelmingly reasonable and more than fair. I award the costs as requested.
