PERELL, J.
1The Plaintiff, Amgad, Inc., brought a summary judgment motion for payment of $50,895.55 (U.S. dollars) or the equivalent in Canadian dollars and for an order dismissing the counterclaim of the Defendant, Marquee Equity Inc., which claimed $1.0 million in damages for slander and intentional interference of contractual and business relations. I granted summary judgment to Amgad, Inc. on its claim and I dismissed the counterclaim. See Amgad, Inc. v. Marquee Equity Inc., 2017 ONSC 4138.
2Amgad, Inc. made written submissions and it seeks costs of $12,141.61, all inclusive of counsel fee, disbursements, and applicable taxes. Marquee Equity Inc. did not deliver any submissions to oppose this request for costs.
3The claim for costs is overwhelmingly reasonable and more than fair. I award the costs as requested.
