SUPPLEMENTARY ENDORSEMENT
[1] On July 14, 2014 I released an endorsement reported in this matter at 2014 ONSC 4045 dealing in part with the request by Mr. Faucher for temporary relief from the payment of guideline child support on the basis of hardship. This request was not granted. Subsequently I received correspondence from the solicitor for Mr. Faucher correcting an apparent error in the endorsement respecting Mr. Faucher’s income tax liability for the 2013 taxation year.
[2] Based on a representation by Mr. Lyon, solicitor for Ms. Douglas, I referred to this tax liability as amounting to $16,831 and it now appears the correct figure is substantially higher at $36,831. I note that the previous endorsement refers to Mr. Faucher’s estimated 2014 income tax liability (based on the monthly amount of $2,221) to $26,652.
[3] I am not persuaded that the denial of the hardship claim ought to be revisited due to this error.
