Endorsement

[1] I have received cost submissions following my endorsement in which I ordered that two judgments from Singapore be recognized in Ontario with costs to the applicant. The cost submissions received are unsatisfactory and do not permit me to consider the reasonableness of the time spent on each task.

[2] The applicant must file a cost outline that indicates the time spent on each particular item, and when court attendances were required, the time spent on each such attendance. As well, in this case, all time spent on the motion in which Justice Stinson ordered costs on July 12, 2013 should be removed from the cost outline as well as the amount ordered by him.

[3] Particulars of two disbursements are required. An explanation of the time taken by process servers, and the need for such time involving service on a registered agent, must be provided, as well as the basis for the time charged by the process server. An explanation of the work done by the administrative assistant and the time spent on each task must also be provided.
