ENDORSEMENT

[1] The plaintiff sued successfully for breach of contract and defended the counterclaim with equal success (2013 ONCA 5351). It now asks for costs.

[2] The plaintiff was entirely successful and should have its costs on a partial indemnity basis. Given the length of the trial, the issues involved and the amounts at stake, I think that an amount that would reasonably have been contemplated is $20,000 and I order the defendant to pay that amount.
