ENDORSEMENT
1The plaintiff sued successfully for breach of contract and defended the counterclaim with equal success (2013 ONCA 5351). It now asks for costs.
2The plaintiff was entirely successful and should have its costs on a partial indemnity basis. Given the length of the trial, the issues involved and the amounts at stake, I think that an amount that would reasonably have been contemplated is $20,000 and I order the defendant to pay that amount.
