RULING ON COSTS
PEDLAR, J
[1] This is a Ruling on Costs pursuant to decision dated February 20th, 2013. I have now had an opportunity to review the costs submissions of the applicant, following my ruling on a motion for interim spousal and child support.
[2] The applicant was successful in that motion and received an award that exceeds the amount included in the applicant’s offer to settle. No offers to settle were provided by the respondent, except that between June, 2012 and October, 2012, he paid her $2,000 per month, but cut off other forms of support and access to bank accounts, as set out in paragraph 20 of the applicant’s costs submissions.
[3] I find the respondent is liable to pay costs to the applicant. The amount claimed by the applicant in the draft Bill of Costs of $6,991.76 is reasonable.
[4] The respondent has not filed any written response to the applicant’s costs submissions within the time frames established by my decision dated February 20th, 2013.
[5] The respondent is, therefore, ordered to pay to the applicant her costs of this motion in the amount of $6,991.76 forthwith.
