[ 1 ] The wife applied successfully for spousal support [2012 ONSC 327]. She asks for costs.

[ 2 ] This was a straightforward matter. The wife was successful. None of the offers to settle are such as to bring Rule 49 into play. The husband ran up the wife’s costs by claiming that Mr Dedinsky was in a conflict of interest and later abandoning that claim. I fix the wife’s costs at $15,000 and order the husband to pay them. For enforcement purposes, this amount shall be treated as costs incurred to obtain support. A support deduction order will issue.
