[1] On November 24, 2020, this matter was adjourned at the request of the appellant. On that date, the adjournment was granted subject to conditions that included the fact that the hearing today was peremptory, and that the appellant was to pay the respondent the monthly rent due on December 1, 2020 of $425.
[2] The appellant has not appeared today and has not paid the rent due on December 1, 2020. In view of this, we are granting the respondent’s request that the appeal be dismissed with costs to the respondent.
[3] We fix those costs in the amount of $5,000 all inclusive. The stay that was granted by virtue of the initiation of this appeal is hereby lifted.
[4] The necessity for the appellant’s approval as to form and content of this order is hereby dispensed with.
