REASONS FOR DECISION

[ 1 ] It is in the interests of justice that we allow the appellant’s motion to extend the time to perfect his appeal and authorize the filing of his appeal materials that he attempted to file in January 2026. The appellant has adequately explained the short delay that has not caused prejudice to the respondent.

[ 2 ] We therefore dismiss the respondent’s motion to dismiss the appellant’s appeal for delay.

[ 3 ] We order no costs of these motions.
