[1] We have reviewed the submissions on costs from the parties. The result of the appeal is that the appellant recovers a small judgment at trial. In the circumstances, given the amount of that judgment and the fact that all other claims by the appellant were unsuccessful both at trial and on appeal, the appropriate costs order is in the amount of $1,000 for trial and $1,000 for the appeal payable by the respondent to the appellant.
