REASONS FOR DECISION

[1] Gabriella Lengyel seeks to review the order of Wilson J.A. That order dismissed her request for an extension of time to review the order of Roberts J.A., which denied her request for an extension of time to bring an application for leave to appeal a decision of the Divisional Court. That decision dismissed Ms. Lengyel’s application for judicial review of a decision of the Ontario Assessment Review Board of August 9, 2022.

[2] Ms. Lengyel can only appeal the decision of the Divisional Court with leave of this court. Roberts J.A. found that she failed to establish a timely intention to seek leave and provided no adequate explanation for her lengthy delay. Additionally, she found that there was no merit to the proposed appeal.

[3] Ms. Lengyel failed to serve notice of her motion to review the Roberts J.A. order in a timely manner and brought a motion to extend her time to do so. Her request was dismissed by Wilson J.A., who found that Ms. Lengyel provided no evidence of her intention to review the Roberts J.A. order and no explanation for her delay in bringing the motion. She also found that the motion was without merit.

[4] Ms. Lengyel has filed lengthy materials contesting her failure to comply with the court’s rules. A panel review is not a hearing de novo. We see no basis to interfere with the order of Wilson J.A. She made no error in principle and the result was reasonable. The justice of the case does not require that an extension be granted. The motion is dismissed.

[5] There is no order as to costs.
