1The applicant alleged discrimination because of disability contrary to the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (the “Code”), in the special diet allowance provided under Ontario’s social assistance system. In an Interim Decision, 2014 HRTO 665, the Tribunal directed the parties to advise as to the status of the applicant’s claim in regards to hepatic disorder – hepatitis C by May 23, 2014.
2The respondent advised the Tribunal that it has had no contact with the applicant regarding his claim. The applicant failed to respond to the Tribunal’s Interim Decision.
ORDER
3In the above circumstances, the applicant’s claim in relation to hepatic disorder – Hepatitis C is dismissed as abandoned.
