1This is an Application under s. 34 of the Human Rights Code, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.19, as amended (‘the Code”), filed on August 19, 2009, which alleges that the respondent discriminated against the applicant on the basis of ancestry, marital status, family status and disability with respect to services.
2On August 27, 2009, the Tribunal sent a Notice of Intent to Dismiss to the Applicant. The Notice stated that the Application appeared to be outside the Tribunal's jurisdiction. The Notice indicated that the applicant might make written submissions explaining why she believed the Application to be within the Tribunal's jurisdiction, and stated that those submissions must be filed within 30 days of the date of the Notice. No submissions have been received from the applicant.
3The applicant is advised that unless the Tribunal receives written submissions in response to the Notice by November 27, 2009, the Application will be considered abandoned and will be dismissed by the tribunal.
4I am not seized of this matter.
