Tribunal approves modified Official Plan Amendment 573 on consent, adjourning site-specific appeals sine die.
The appellants appealed the City of Toronto's adoption of Official Plan Amendment 573 (OPA 573) concerning the Danforth Avenue Study Area.
The parties reached an uncontested settlement, save for site-specific appeals by CP REIT Ontario Properties Limited and Del Boca Vista Properties Inc., which were adjourned sine die.
Relying on the uncontested affidavit evidence of the City's planner, the Tribunal found the modified OPA 573 consistent with provincial policies and good planning.
The Tribunal allowed the appeal in part and approved the modified OPA 573, without prejudice to the outstanding site-specific appeals.
