Human rights application dismissed as abandoned after applicant refused to participate and left the hearing.
The applicant attended the hearing on the merits of his human rights application but refused to participate unless the proceeding was tape recorded.
After the adjudicator initially denied the request and later accommodated it, the applicant still refused to proceed, objected to the adjudicator controlling the recording, and left the hearing room.
The Tribunal dismissed the application as abandoned and found the applicant's conduct constituted an abuse of process.
