INTRODUCTION AND CONTEXT
1On June 24, 2025, the Toronto and East York Panel of the Committee of Adjustment (COA) refused four (4) Variances for the property located at 4 Walmsley Blvd. (subject property). The variances would permit the alteration of an existing one-storey rear ancillary building (detached garage) by constructing a complete second storey addition and a two-storey east side addition. The ancillary building would contain one parking space on the ground level and one garden suite on the second level. There would be two bicycle parking spaces in the rear yard.
2On July 07, 2025, J. Hoffman (Goodman’s LLP) (the Appellant), on behalf of the Applicant (F. Kassam) appealed the COA’s refusal to the Toronto Local Appeal Body (TLAB).
3A TLAB Hearing was scheduled for October 21, 2025.
