MADAME CHAIR: Thank you. Please be seated. Okay, in the matter of the ruling of thoroughbred racing 9496/2015 the appeal is denied. The evidence from both Campbell and Contreras is that the horse COZSHECAN; I hope I’m pronouncing that correctly, came in from the outside towards the rail at the midstretch during race 4 at Woodbine on September the 5^th, 2015 causing interference to horse number 5 FLASHY PATCH. Campbell was not found at fault and no penalty was imposed on him. However, interference was caused to Contreras’ horse and as a consequence COZSHECAN who finished 1^st was placed 4^th in the race. The penalty is in compliance with the rules and is upheld herein. Thank you.
