COMMISSION HEARING TORONTO, ONTARIO – JULY 31, 2012

AND IN THE MATTER OF THE APPEAL AND REQUEST FOR HEARING BY
THOROUGHBRED LICENSEE HENRY REID
On May 3, 2012, the Deputy Director issued Ruling Number TB ADMIN 14/2012 wherein Henry Reid (“REID”, licence #111970) was granted a conditional groom’s licence.
On May 13, 2012, REID filed a Notice of Appeal.
On June 25, 2012, a Notice of Hearing was issued indicating that the appeal will be heard on August 8, 2012.
On July 6, 2012, REID submitted a written request to the Deputy Director to withdraw his appeal of Ruling Number TB ADMIN 14/2012.
On July 31, 2012, a Panel of the Ontario Racing Commission (“ORC”) comprised of Chair Rod Seiling was convened for the purpose of hearing the withdrawal of the appeal.
REID, with Candice Warwick acting as his agent, attended via telephone. Jennifer Friedman appeared on behalf of the Administration of the ORC.
Upon reviewing the exhibit filed, the Panel confirmed the withdrawal of REID’s appeal.
