AND IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR TELETHEATRES

On February 24, 2005, Chair Lynda Tanaka convened hearings to review teletheatre licence applications from Flamboro Downs Raceway, Ontario Teletheatre Network and Woodbine Entertainment Group via teleconference from Toronto.

Richard Jacob and William Alempijevic represented Flamboro Downs Raceway from Dundas, Ontario. Cathy Scowcroft represented the Ontario Teletheatre Network (Grand River Raceway) from Elora. Brian Brett represented Woodbine Entertainment Group from Rexdale. Manager of Information Services Wendy Hoogeveen represented the Administration in Toronto.

Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission approved teletheatre licences as follows:

Licensee: Flamboro Downs Raceway

Site: 632 Barton St. East, Hamilton, Ontario

Site Operator: 1070910 Ontario Corp., known as Zaks

Effective February 25, 2005

Licensee: Woodbine Entertainment Group and Georgian Downs Raceway

Site: 17725 Young Street, Unit 14, Newmarket, Ontario

Site Operator: Joxx’s Bar and Grill Limited, known as Joxx’s Bar and Grill Effective March 15, 2005, subject to receipt of the liquor licence and photographs.

Licensee: Ontario Teletheatre Network, as managed by Grand River Raceway

Site: 2880 King Street E., Kitchener, Ontario

Site Operator: Bettor Club Inc., known as The Bettor Club,

Effective March 2, 2005, subject to receipt of the liquor licence, the menu and photographs.

The Ontario Racing Commission cancelled a teletheatre licence as follows:

Licensee: Woodbine Entertainment Group and Georgian Downs Raceway

Site: 130 Davis Drive, Newmarket, Ontario

Site Operator: Ricsom Inc., known as Ricci’s, effective February 28, 2005.
