IN THE MATTER OF THE RACING COMMISSION ACT, 2000, S.O. 2000, c. 20;
AND IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR TELETHEATRES
On November 3, 2004, Chair Lynda Tanaka convened to hear a teletheatre licence application from Woodbine Entertainment Group via teleconference from Toronto.
Brian Brett represented Woodbine Entertainment Group from Rexdale. Manager of Information Services Wendy Hoogeveen represented the Administration in Toronto.
Upon hearing the submissions, the Ontario Racing Commission ruled as follows:
Licensee: Woodbine Entertainment Group
Site: 2601 Rutherford Road, Vaughan, Toronto, Ontario
Site Operator: Woodbine Entertainment Group, known as WEGZ Stadium Bar
The licence is granted subject to the condition that the Executive Director receives an Investigation Report that is satisfactory to the Executive Director. In the event that it is not satisfactory, the Executive Director may revoke the licence forthwith or alternatively, the Executive Director may impose additional conditions to address any concerns that may arise therefrom. In that event, the decision of the Executive Director may be appealed to a panel of the Commission.
